During the Covid-19 Pandemic, the ICU in my local hospital were requesting all crocheters and knitters to come together and make and donate pairs of hearts for patients in the ICU. One heart would go to the patient, and the second to their family. This was to make them feel they were together, as there were to be no visitors during this time.
It helped spread that bit of hope and love through this awful time.
