Christmas Card – snowman.
My mum found a pattern to make a crochet Christmas card. My mum is knitter, rather than a crocheter, so she asked me to have a go at making them. So I had a go. I ended up making two – one for each grandma. They were rather cute.
The body and scarf was crocheted, but the buttons, eyes and nose were made from felt.
Birthday Card – cup of tea.
My grandad is someone who loves a good cuppa, so I thought it was appropriate to make him a cup of tea for his birthday card. Of course, I need to work on more fancier writing for the front of future cards, but I was thrilled with how this cup and tea bag turned out.
Mother’s Day Card – bunch of flowers.
Due to the events that were happening in the world around Mother’s Day (2020) it made it difficult to go and look for a decent Mother’s Day card, so I thought about making one.
I found a pattern online (from Pictopals) to crochet different sized flowers, a bud and a leaf, however, I decided to stick with the flowers to create a bunch of them. These were then stuch onto card (with a chain stem), and then I used a piece of wool to make a fork bow. This was then stuck over the stems, to look like they were tied together.
Easter Cards – daffodils
After the Mother’s Day Cards (above) my grandma sent me a text saying how much she loved it, and that she was expecting a daffodil come Easter. So here we are – some crochet daffodils on the front of a card for Easter.
Again, this is a pattern found online, from Attic 24.
