Summer 2020, my grandma gave me a pattern she took out of a magazine, I believe it was from Woman’s Weekly. She wanted me to make 6 of them for Easter this year (2021), and she wanted to give me plenty of notice. She obviously knows me too well, and knows I am nearly always working!

It did a trial run for her, so she could see the size of them, and see if she was happy with them. After my grandma’s approval, I bought some yellow wool and made a start. A couple of weeks later (I did these in between my school work and planning) they were complete, and I must say, I was overloaded by cuteness.

I am unsure what my grandma is going to do with these, but the moment I find out someone I know is having a baby, I am so making them a pair of these adorable chick bootees.
