My TA (and I) love these gnome gonks. There are some every cute variations, including this Christmas tree gonk. I have made two of these. The first went to my TA. She was thrilled, but again, her dogs were not such fans. This little one cannot be moved without any of the bells ringing. It was quite fun trying to though. Of course, once my mum had seen it, she wanted one (well, two – one for each end of the mantle piece). I told her she would have to wait until I had finished for Christmas, as I knew I would be able to knuckle down with it.
Well, this took a turn in a direction I was not expecting. My mum was worried that her Christmas tree gonk would not be completed in time for Christmas, so she decided to kidnap my Percy the Pig teddy……the ransom for his release was to create this gonk. The pressure was on. After two days, Percy was free, and we had christmas tree gonk on our mantle piece, but only one. The second can wait until this Christmas!
