Douglas is a family bull with a heart even bigger than his massive head. He has a tendency towards being very tidy and, when left alone , loves nothing more than dusting around the house in his brightly coloured pants. He has an insatiable appetite, but is quite a health-conscious soul who has made a habit of reading the nutritional information on all the food in the supermarket. Endlessly well intentioned, but occasionally blinded by hunger, he has been known (more than once) to land himself short of a sandwich and white-knuckle-grasping the wrong end of a stick.

I saw Douglas in the TOFT’s ‘Edwards Menagerie’, and just loved him. I requested the wool as a Christmas present, and I think Angharad the donkey is just pleased to finally have a friend who is the same size as her. They have both become the best of friends, and pretty much inseparable.
