In 2019, I decided not to have a chocolate advent calendar, nor a LEGO one. I bought a crochet advent calendar. How does that work you ask?
In November, a parcel arrived, and within this was all the wool and stuffing we needed, but no patterns or any hint towards what we would be making. Each day in December, an email was sent, which part of a pattern for each of the animals we were making. All we knew, was the names. Of course, being a teacher, my work came first, so I get quite behind, but I managed to catch up when we finished for the Christmas holidays.
