Panama is a place I never thought I would go. I had never heard of the place, until my sister started working there.
I visited my sister in Panama in 2017, yes, I was very nervous. It was my second time flying, but first time flying on my own. It was a 13 hour flight (over 2 flights). I nearly missed my first flight, but lets not go into details.
I went to visit my sister there, but I also got some experience in her school (in the Primary part). I spent a day in each year group, and even went on a school trip with the year 2 class. I gained lots of experience with children whom have English as an Additional Language (EAL), as their first language was Spanish. It very interesting to see how different schools are abroad in comparison to England.
Whilst here, I had my first brunch, which was pineapple pancakes (yum yum) and then I had a second brunch the following week, which was some french toast. I also visited the Panama Canal, which was very interesting.
I also went on some walks along the coats, as well as completed my first 5K colour run and a 10km bike ride. This was very difficult with the heat and humidity, but I managed it. It was a lovely city, with some lovely scenery. I would visit here again, but think I would need to brush up on my Spanish.
