I got my urge to go to Stockholm after watching Richard Ayoade’s 48 hour travel man. The thing that made me want to go, was knowing there was an ABBA museum! So I messaged a friend and asked if she wanted to go there. We were both up for it, so the planning began.

First, we booked the ABBA museum – Best. Museum. Ever!
It told you all about the menber of band and how they got together, there was a limited time Mamma Mia the movie exhibition, you got to sing Karaoke (which was recorded), sing alongside the members (sadly, it wasn’t really them). Your whole experience was saved to your ticket, and you could access photos and recording online! I would highly recommend going here if you are an ABBA fan.

In additon to amazing ABBA museum, we went to an ice bar (bbbrrrr yes, it was freezing). It is literally a bar made our of ice, and your drinks are in an ice glass!

Another amazing experience was the rooftop tour. You are literally walking on roofs getting a tour of Stockholm, and getting lots of interesting information about the city as well as seeing some amazing sites. I will admit, not a good thing to do if you’re afraid of heights!! But I would do it again!!

With our spare time, we toured around the city, and went of a pedalo too! We tried some of local cuisine, including the famous Swedish Meatballs. It really is a lovely, clean city, and I really want to go there again and see more of the lovely sites and try more of their food. Oh, and to visit the ABBA museum again! I could never get bored of that place! What an amazing trip this was with amazing company!
