My brother once asked if I had a pattern to make an octopus. Unfortunately, at the time, I didn’t. However, my grandma found a pattern to crochet and knit a mini octopus – she must have read my mind as I was looking for a nice one. I believe this pattern was from a Woman’s Weekly magazine.
This is only a small octopus, and I used fine wool in a ruby colour. Once this octopus was completed, I crocheted a chain, and sew it onto the back of the octopus to create a loop, allowing him to be hung up somewhere, looking as though he is swimming through the air.
I may have to make another one of these and hang him in my car…
