On the run up to Christmas. TOFT released (for a limited time only) different weighted yarn in ruby. This meant they released a pattern for Santa, but this could have been made as mini, standard, large, or giant. I really, really wanted to buy wool for the giant Santa, but looking at the measurements, I had no idea where he would sit throughout Christmas, so I decided to buy the colours in ‘fine’ to make a small Santa, This was the perfect size to sit on our Christmas tree.
I thoroughly enjoyed making this doll, especially his beard and hat. This little fellow will be out sitting on our tree again at Christmas, and hopefully joined by a little friend this year too. Keep your eyes peeled.
