Snow Queen.
The Snow Queen: the infamous character from one of Hans Christian Andersen’s highly acclaimed fairy stories. She rules the kingdom of Winter and can control snow and ice. Her role within the fairytale is to show how good triumphs over evil.
This was the result of TOFT’s Advent Calendar 2020. There were some new skills learnt (I even crocheted with wire), and a number of choices to make. We had to make decisions that included: choose the hand design; hair style; crown design; choice of accessory; whether our doll was to be a witch or wizard. After these decisions, I created the Snow Queen.
I am totally in love with this doll. The design is so detailed, and the choice of colours is fabulous. I cannot wait to have this doll out on display again this Christmas.
